As the COVID-19 outbreak has intensified in ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥´óÈ«Ãâ·ÑÏÂÔØÊÖ»ú°æapp over the past month, UAB has emerged as one of the state’s most vital institutions in the fight to combat the disease.

Today System officials issued guidance advising against any non-essential domestic travel at this time, particularly to large conferences with attendees from multiple states or locations that have declared a state of emergency due to the virus.

Effective today the University of ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥´óÈ«Ãâ·ÑÏÂÔØÊÖ»ú°æapp System has cancelled university-sponsored international travel departing during the month of March. Regarding university-sponsored international travel beyond March, those decisions will be assessed as public health conditions warrant.
